Herne Hill Conservatives were out in force last week delivering the latest Herne Hill News to over 5000 households in our ward.
With nearly 20 local volunteers coming out to support the campaign it is great to know that there is so much support in the community for the Conservatives as the only viable choice for national and local government.
Unlike Tessa Jowell, Kemi Adegoke, our local parliamentary candidate doesn’t have a tax payer funded communications allowance to help fund her campaign.
Whereas Labour are using professional delivery services to distribute their political materials, Herne Hill Conservatives rely on the support and commitment of a growing number of local volunteers.

We rarely see Jowell in her constituency.
That having been said, she does have Tony Blair’s garden parties to attend.

On the matter of Tessa Jowell and her paid for deliveries: Will somone please drive up to Hampstead or wherever she lives and tell her to tell her delivery service to put her banal newsletters through the darn letterbox.
Norwood streets are festooned with her absurd pieties and generalised tosh blowing n the wind because her paid-for lackeys can’t do a simple task like putting a leaflet through a door.
Even better: why don’t New Labour do a better job of governing and indeed why don’t they stop telling lies. Then they might have some volunteers to do the job for them instead of having to milch from the taxpayers yet again.
